Quarantine Remodel

If nothing else, the free time created by quarantine allowed us to get some work done around the house. One major project that still needed to be done was the master bathroom. We were really getting tired of how gross it was, plus the ants were finding a way in through the wall behind the sinks, only one sink worked, and at one point we had a mouse problem. It was past time to destroy the room and start from scratch, so we did.

The before. All the best from 1979.

There was a small shower in the back corner that was pretty nasty and definitely needed to go.

Tear it up. Make more trash. We've generated a lot of trash this past year.

New drywall, new tile coming up.

Got a killer deal on a bathroom vanity. Home Depot accidentally marked it as a return and then couldn't figure out a way to fix it, so they just gave it to us. We'll take it!

Not bad for a couple of months worth of weekends. But I have to admit I'm a little burned out spending all of our money at Home Depot and Lowe's. Going to be a while before the next project starts, but there will definitely be more.
