Christmas Boys!

The year is coming to an end, and already… it’s Christmas time!  Gotta love it, because it’s the most wonderful time of the year!  There aren’t any snowflakes falling in Southeast Georgia though, so it doesn’t really feel like winter here.  And where we’re going, it probably won’t feel much like winter next year either.  That’s what happens when you abandon your families and move to the south.  But we’re sending you all this very merry blog post and hoping all of your Christmas holidays are merry and bright!

Definitely a kid on the wrong side of Santa's list.

Wish we could see you all this holiday season, but here we are wishing you a very Merry Christmas and onward to 2013!

Family Photo Update

My mother requested that we send her some recent family photos, since it has been quite a while, and we are a larger family now than we were before.  So we went out and found a nice place by the water and took some photos with a make-shift tripod (a baby stroller) to balance the camera on.  Here we are... as the Georgia Sellers, I guess.

Oh, unreal Christmas Tree!

Every year, Becky tries to convince me to buy a real Christmas tree from one of those Christmas tree sales places in the Walmart parking lot.  Unfortunately, this year it wasn’t going to work out and it would have been more of a hassle than it was worth.  All of our Christmas decorations and ornaments and the like are in boxes in Texas.  We are still in Georgia.  So we stole an idea from our neighbor friends and made the boys a felt tree.  Overall it was a fun thing to do, and it turned out pretty nice.

We even strung the lights around it! Except they fell off after a few days...

 The smallest elf...

Nolan's first Christmas is already coming up on us fast!  Too bad he'll never remember it, though I'm sure he'll have a good time.

A sunny winter...

A couple of weeks ago we went out to St. Simon’s Island… again.  There are really not that many places to go around here, so we tend to go there often.  It definitely doesn’t feel like winter here, that’s for sure.  Sunshine and warm weather do not equal December where I come from anyway.  We took a few photos of the boys out on the island, because that’s also what we do.  Here they are.

The always "up to no good" Sellers boy.

 The boys and their mom.

Hanging out on the rocks.  This was as close to the ocean as Adam would let us get.  He's not a fan of the waves.  Not sure how that's going to play out growing up in Corpus Christi, but he does hate having to wear pants, so that will be one good thing about Texas.

Just hanging out in the sunlight with Nolan.

The youngest... but getting bigger everyday.

Took shelter from the unusually warm, winter sun in this gazebo.

Super Baby!  Here to save the day! Or just sleep through most of it.
