Visit from the (New) Montana Sellers

The Sellers Grandparents from (now) Montana made the long drive to Texas (three days of it), and hung out with us for a couple of weeks. They helped finish the downstairs bathroom, hung out in early December, and even hit the beach.

They even came along to the Cub Scouts roller skating party - and thankfully nobody broke any bones!

Got to take in a few cold weather baseball games!

And some warm weather beach visits!

Went to see Paul play his winter piano recital.

And even Bitsy came along.

Another Fall Gone By

Time comes and goes quickly and I fall behind on blog posts even quicker. It was another busy fall season with school, scouts, baseball, and house remodeling of course. But it was all good, the boys had a lot of fun and we got a lot of work done around here. Here are some of the highlights:

Students of the month in First and Fourth Grades!

Camped out at the Scout camp and did some sling-shotting and archery.

Tried not to chicken out on Halloween!

The real chicken behind the mask.

Blasted some apples.

Slaughtered some innocent pumpkins.

Lost some teeth.

Played some fall ball!

Celebrated peace, love, and a random Volkswagen bus!

Celebrated Thanksgiving with this First Grader!

And went to Home Depot... a lot.

The Rest of the Summer

The summer flew by as it always does, and it was a busy one. Between the cross-country trips and home renovations, the kids seemed to have had a good summer overall. Grandpa Jim and Uncle Josh came down for a long weekend to help hang drywall, and of course we hit the beach. Here's a few more summer memories:

Had some Mexican food with these gentlemen...

Did some sort of yoga on the beach.

Terminated some fried chicken at Zaxbys somewhere on the road.

Took more than a few trips to Lowe's.

Went back to the beach on the last day of summer!

Had a sand battle.

Got ready for football season! Here we go Brownies!!

Rocked out while buying school supplies... I guess?

Went back to school...

It was a summer to remember, but then it was back to reality... oh well, it'll be back again!
