Summer is long gone now, as we're pretty sure we saw the first snow flakes falling today, and most of the leaves in our yard are already hitting the ground! That means it's fall in Montana! The weather has been pretty fantastic, the colors are incredible, and the school year is keeping everyone busy. Here are a few things we've been up to though:

Falling It Up...
Picked out a windchime!
And a cactus!
Kept going to the Farmer's Market
Worked on getting our ears up...
Growled constantly at that stupid puppy... oh how we hate him... we hate him endlessly...
But he doesn't care.
Right where they belong.
Climbed some rocks with some Millers!
Contemplated our next move...
Sat around in the woods...
Bundled up for winter...
"Helped" rake some leaves...
Back in Action
Time disappears quickly... just the other day the kids were starting back to school, and now more than a month has gone by. Before we know it they'll be on Thanksgiving Break, then Christmas Break, then Summer Break, then graduating from college! Hopefully not that fast, but you get the idea... here they were when they started back this year:

The Rest of the Summer
August is winding down, and with it, the glorious season of summer. The kids go back to school on Monday, much to all of their excitement, and it's already starting to hit the 40's at night. Before we know it, the leaves will fall and the crisp breeze of winter will flow through the valley again. But for now, these are the random memories of summer!
Went to Garnet Ghost Town with some of the cousins!
Worked on the truck!
Waded in the cool mountain spring...
Mountain biked...
Broke a sweat...
Found a way to cool off...
Took a hike...
Went for a swim...
Lounged on the shoreline...
Had a shake and contemplated life...
Begged to come inside...
Waited in line to ride the rides at the fair...
Hung out lakeside...
Tried not to fall in...
Free soloed...
Complained...
And otherwise enjoyed a beautiful summer under the Big Sky!
