Happy Merry Christmas New Year!

December was a busy month, with both sets of grandparents showing up and hanging out for most of the month. We finished a lot of work on the house, went to the beach (of course), did some Christmas shopping, did some Christmas celebrating, and otherwise had a very merry and happy holiday season! 2019 is behind now, and it's onward to 2020! A new year, a new decade. A lot happened this past decade, so I can only imagine what this one will have in store for us. Here's the highlights of the past couple of weeks:

Got dressed up for me and Paul to perform in the Christmas event for his piano teacher.

Checked out the Padre Island National Seashore and got Adam's 4th Grade National Parks pass... gonna put it to use this year hopefully!

Preparing for Christmas morning!

Hit the folf course in Rockport on a beautiful December day.

Hope everyone had a great holiday season, and here's to another great year ahead!

Visit from the (New) Montana Sellers

The Sellers Grandparents from (now) Montana made the long drive to Texas (three days of it), and hung out with us for a couple of weeks. They helped finish the downstairs bathroom, hung out in early December, and even hit the beach.

They even came along to the Cub Scouts roller skating party - and thankfully nobody broke any bones!

Got to take in a few cold weather baseball games!

And some warm weather beach visits!

Went to see Paul play his winter piano recital.

And even Bitsy came along.

Another Fall Gone By

Time comes and goes quickly and I fall behind on blog posts even quicker. It was another busy fall season with school, scouts, baseball, and house remodeling of course. But it was all good, the boys had a lot of fun and we got a lot of work done around here. Here are some of the highlights:

Students of the month in First and Fourth Grades!

Camped out at the Scout camp and did some sling-shotting and archery.

Tried not to chicken out on Halloween!

The real chicken behind the mask.

Blasted some apples.

Slaughtered some innocent pumpkins.

Lost some teeth.

Played some fall ball!

Celebrated peace, love, and a random Volkswagen bus!

Celebrated Thanksgiving with this First Grader!

And went to Home Depot... a lot.
