Congrats to Cousin Josie!

We were grateful to be able to make the drive up to Missouri again to witness the graduation of yet another Miller kid. Two years ago, we made the drive up for Wyatt, but this time it was Josie's turn. She's "an adult" now, in her own words. We made it just in time for the party, after picking up my brother and cousin Mason at the airport in Kansas City. It was hot. And it was humid. To say the least. But it was a great time seeing everyone again, as it's been too far between visits the past couple of years...

The whole Miller gang, minus the eldest son, who's off doing Marine things...

Grandma Cindy, delighted to get her photo taken...

Even Great-Grandma Steele made it out for the event!

A huge congrats to the eldest Miller daughter!

The Scouts

Another school year is winding down, and with it, another year in Scouts for these kids. Adam finished up and earned his Wolf, and Paul made it all the way to the end of Cub Scouts. He earned his Arrow of Light and crossed over to be an official Boy Scout (or Scout BSA, or just Scout, whatever they're calling it now). We had the Blue & Gold banquet, so the "boys" made a cake to auction off, they ate BBQ, got their awards, and otherwise had a good ending to the year. Even Nolan got in on the action! He's technically not old enough to be in Scouts, but he was helping out his friend Charlie who was a Lion (Kindergarten). He got up and did a skit, and earned the patch and his own Lion's crown!

They also won a first place trophy in the Windfest Parade again for the Pinewood Derby float! Always a good time...

The Highlight Reel

Spring Baseball has been in full effect for some time now. Nolan's T-Ball season has already wrapped up, but ended with an All-Stars nomination for the youngest Sellers - so there may still be more to come for that kid. Adam still has a few games left. Since the grandparents don't get to see much of it, we put together this little highlight reel of Adam's baseball batting practices and some game moments. Check it out:

This Kid is Eight...

It's hard to believe it, but the middle son is now eight years old. In some ways, that's hard to imagine, but in others it feels like he's just always been here. It doesn't really hit us until we look back at pictures of the chubby baby he was in Maryland all those years ago. Now he's tall and thin, overly crazy and other times timidly calm, as smart as the best of them and a speedy athlete. One minute we're working hard to break his shell and the next we're blown away by how far out of it he goes. He's a constant harassment to his brothers and his mother, but has the biggest heart of all of us. We're so happy to have him with us and so excited to see what he continues to become!

Dressed for Spring!

As is tradition now, Becky buys the boys some Spring/Easter outfits and we take their photos. Usually, we drive up to Rockport to the Fulton Mansion, but this time we weren't paying attention and since Easter came early, the mansion's Easter egg hunt also came early, and we missed it. Either way, since the Clayburn girls were here and had Easter dresses, we took them all out to the beach for the photos. Here are some shots from the day:

They were back again!

Granny G always seems to turn back up again when we're least expecting her... ok, we've come to expect her at least a couple of times a year. The last few Aprils she's shown up around Easter time and she's started bringing along a couple of the boys' cousins with her. This time Brooke and Sophie tagged along and hung out with us down here in sunny Texas (as apposed to the frigid cold they left behind in Montana this time of year). They did all the usual stuff, hit the aquarium, hit the beach, and just hung out doing kid stuff. Here are some pictures of their shenanigans...

Decorated some eggs for Easter!
