Springtime Hikes

As the snow melted away, we've made our way back out in the woods a few times. We've been out and about on a handful of hikes and checked out some of the many lakes and waterfalls Montana has to offer. Here are just a few of the highlights:

In the Deep South... Dakota

The Black Hills are definitely an impressive place. The rolling mountains and massive boulders make for plenty of places to explore. We checked out a frozen lake, cruised around the neighborhood by the AirBnB, and checked out the Reptile Gardens, amongst other stuff. Then we headed over to the Badlands to check another National Park off the map!

Rushin' to the Mount

Quick trip to SLC

We took a little trip down to Salt Lake City to visit the Utah Sellers and hit the slopes of Utah's famous mountain resorts. The visit was great, but the foot of snow over night threw a wrench in our plans. It took a while to dig out of the driveway and the traffic heading into the canyon was a bit out of hand. So we only got in a few hours of skiing, but it's all about the memories with family anyway...

They'd installed a new security system since the last time we were there...

Including this gunner...

Waiting in hours and hours of traffic...

At least we got an overpriced lunch!
