Dream of Spring

For the second year in a row, we decided to head to Phoenix for Spring Break and to watch some spring training baseball games. This time we were joined by the cousins from Utah and grandparents from Missouri! We watched a couple of games, got a little rain, played some baseball of our own, and otherwise just enjoyed hanging out with family. The weather is already beginning to heat up as we leave the cold of winter behind. Before we know it we'll be sweating in the humidity again! But for now, we'll bask in the beautiful sunlight of spring!

Quite some time ago...

So I guess we got busy with school, baseball, scouts, vacation, and work somewhere in there too. It's been quite some time since we posted any photos, so I suppose we should catch up. Grandpa Bill came to visit what seems like a long time ago now, but we hit the usual spots and a few new ones. After about six or eight attempts, we finally won the Pinewood Derby! Adam came out on top this year with his Transformers Bumblebee car. He also competed in the annual school bike parade, Nolan geared up for "dress like a cowboy day," and both of those two kicked off another spring baseball season! Played a little competitive laser tag...

We took a little trip to the world famous King Ranch, almost got chased by some turkeys, looked for rattlesnakes, and roped some cattle!

Went to the new Harry Potter themed coffee shop!

His cowboy hat was a little too small, or his head is a little too big... not sure which.
