Spring into Spring

I think it's officially spring here in Texas!  We've had a couple of sunny days, but quite a bit of rain as well.  Either way, the cold weather seems to have left and we're well on our way back to the heat of summer.  Hopefully, we can stay in these nice 70's and 80's days for a while though.  Spring baseball is starting, spring break is now, and it's time to spring out the door and enjoy the world!  Here's what the boys have been up to...

Sunshine? Gotta wear shades...

Hit the park!

The slugger.

Moving on up in Cub Scouts.

Went to see Elmo and the other Sesame Street friends when they came to town.

Entered the Science Fair!

Rocked out on sunglasses day at school... or maybe 80's Rock Star day.

Got second place in the Science Fair! Moving on to district!

Watched some dogs... sort of.

Partied with friends.

Rode around the neighborhood like a maniac!

It's all about Paul...

At least that's what he likes to think sometimes.  Since he is the oldest, he does get to do a few more things than the other two at the moment.  We're not sure what we're going to do when they're all three involved in different activities.  But Paul is enjoying Cub Scouts, having raced in the Pinewood Derby a couple of weeks ago.  And with the Science Fair coming up and piano lessons, he's a busy kid.

Blue and orange for the Florida Gators of his home state!  Though it should have been brown and orange for the football team of my home state, due to the fact that we lost every race.  Oh well, there's always next year...

At least we got a medal for trying...

And mom was proud.

And then he helped paint his new room... yes, it's red.

Took a little drive out to the beach to gather water samples for his science fair project.

And then his little brother helped build his new bed!  It's tough being Paul...

Grandpa Bill was back again!

It had been a while since Grandpa Bill made his way down to Texas, so it was good to have him back.  Of course he went to the beach, hung out around Corpus with us, and even took a drive up to see the Alamo.  This is how it all went down...

Took the ferry out to Aransas Pass on a somewhat foggy day, but still got to get the feet in the icy water.

Checked out the children's museum up in San Antonio!

You can't spend time in Texas and not shop at HEB! Because you'll starve if you don't... it's the only grocery store they allow here.

Remembering the Alamo again!

And if there's a cannon... then a picture is required.

Glad he made it back and hopefully he'll be back soon!

We're still here...

We missed a month, which hasn't happened too many times over the past few years on this blog.  We've had plenty of pictures to post, but I've failed in my duties of actually posting them.  The past couple of months have been normal, the holidays ended, the new year began, and we keep finding ways to stay busy.  But here are a few photos of what the boys have been up to:

Paul discovered that it wouldn't feel good to be stepped on by a T-Rex while visiting the dinosaur exhibit at the museum.

Played around on the new playground downtown.

Helped out in the kitchen...

Until things got messy...

A little too messy.

But Farrah took a bath, so all was good.  Even if it was against her will.

Adam cruised around on the new bike he got for Christmas!

And Farrah did a few more things against her will...

Good times.  Here's to another great year in 2015!

Merry Christmas 2014!

Another year over, another Christmas has passed us by.  The boys had a great Christmas, though it wasn't very white and snowy.  The last time it snowed in Corpus Christi was 2004... so it doesn't happen very often.  But there were too many presents and too many Christmas cookies to be eaten around the house, so it was great none the less.  Here are some pictures we took a couple of weeks ago for our Christmas card... Merry Christmas to all!

We hope everyone's Christmas was merry and bright!  And here's to another New Year about to begin!
